Fall in Love with South Walton’s Fall Season

The fall season is officially here at the beaches of South Walton. The weather is perfect with a crisp breeze, clear blue sky and bright yellow sun making me want to spend every minute outdoors. The crowds are light and the outdoor events are plentiful. Here are some top annual area events you’ll be sure not to miss this fall season! 

On October 2nd and 3rd, The Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin presents The Endless Summer Songwriters Series. Nashville’s top songwriters will perform at restaurants and venues throughout the Village for two enjoyable evenings of music. Showcasing over a dozen songwriters singing country’s biggest hits and sharing the stories behind the songs makes this an annual fall event ranking top on our list! 

On October 7th through the 10th, Visit South Walton presents South Walton Fashion Week. This large-scale, four-day event hosted by Grand Boulevard at Sandestin celebrates high fashion along the Gulf Coast. National rising designers and models, local, regional and national designers, stores and boutiques, runway shows, retail shopping experiences, trunk shows and parties makes this fall festival a fantasy for all fashionistas!

On October 17th, Rosemary Beach hosts the 5th Annual Rosemary Beach Uncorked. This culinary and wine pairing event takes place on Saturday from 2:00 to 5:00pm. Enjoy an afternoon in a beautiful beach town complete with cobblestone streets and delicious wines to taste. Area restaurants will prepare and serve signature dishes perfectly paired with unique wines.

The beaches of South Walton celebrate fall with music, fashion and tasty wine. Events are convenient to all Emerald Coast locations from the beaches of Destin to Seagrove, Florida. Fall season is finally here. It’s this time of year that I fall in love with my home all over again!
