Memorial Day on 30A

Memorial Day is the holiday that lets you know summer is on its way! School is coming to a close and families all over the country are planning an exciting summer vacation. Get a head start on summer and head to 30A over Memorial Day weekend.

The Gulf of Mexico is warm in May, perfect for a swim or lounging on a float! The days are long and sunshine abundant so you can spend most of your time outdoors, on the beach, in the powder white sand. Activities are in full swing during summer. Whether it’s fishing, boating, surfing, paddle boarding, boogie boarding, volley ball, or just tossing a football in the sand, there is always something to do on the beaches of 30A! 

The town of Seaside celebrates summer with a special Memorial Day Weekend movie and concert! On Friday, May 22nd at the Seaside amphitheater, you’re encouraged to bring a blanket or low back chair and enjoy a family friendly movie under the stars. Saturday, May 23rd, listen to live music from some of the area’s most popular musicians. Dance the night away on the plush green grass or tap your feet to the beat as you take in the sounds from your cozy beach chair. A bottle of wine and a good laugh with friends makes the evening just right. A fireworks show will add an explosive end to the night! 

A hop, skip and a jump away from Seaside, between Seacrest Beach and Panama City, sits Alys Beach inviting you to ‘Go Pop’ with the Gulf Coast Sinfonia! On Sunday, May 24th, be captivated by the orchestral sounds of our areas very own Sinfonia. The untouched, breathtaking views of Alys Beach is the ideal backdrop for an evening outdoors.
