Our sunny beaches in the Florida panhandle attract people from all over throughout the year. Being some of the top beaches in the country, we can see why many choose to vacation here. While we love the soft sand in our toes and that beautiful blue-green water, there is much to enjoy when we aren’t playing at the beach. Many plan their trips around the seasonal festivals we have so we thought we’d make a list of this year’s festival dates. Accommodations can be made at 30-A vacation rentals nearby to take advantage of the full events. 

31st Annual Wine Festival – April 20th-23rd – One of the area’s top events includes 4 days of wine, food, and fun in the sun! The festival is held at Baytowne Wharf and features celebrity chefs, live music, and hundreds of wines. 

South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival – April 27th-30th – This festival is held in Grand Boulevard and boasts over 800 wines as well as a Champagne Lane, Culinary Village, and Craft Beer & Spirits Jam. Live music is enjoyed throughout the Town Center with proceeds supporting the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation. 

ArtsQuest Fine Arts & Music Festival – May 13th-14th - This festival will take place in Grand Boulevard for Mother’s Day weekend. Over 200 artists from around the country will be on hand with unique pieces available for purchase. There will also be live music and ImagiNation where kids can be have fun and be creative.  

Digital Graffiti – May 19th-21st – This one-of-a-kind projection art festival takes place each year with artists from around the world projecting their work on the walls of Alys Beach. Walking among a kaleidoscope of colors with live music and great food makes this a must-see event. 

Seafood Festival – October 6th -8th – One of the most delicious festivals on the coast features three days of seemingly endless specialties by local restaurants. This festival attracts around 70,000 guests over the weekend along the beautiful Destin Harbor. There will also be live music each day, fun activities for all, and big giveaways! 

These are some of the top festivals in our area that we look forward to. There are also upcoming Gumbo Festivals, Beer Festivals, and even a monthly Wine Walkabout in Gulf Place on 30-A. One thing is for sure, there’s plenty to do around here! We are looking forward to another great year.
