Can you believe it’s October? We say it every year, but this year really flew by. Halloween is right around the corner! If you have kids, you have probably been working on costumes for weeks. Celebrate early at the Hub 30A for trick-or-treating through the Hub shops. October 25th is Hub-O-Ween beginning at 5pm. Seaside hosts a popular Halloweener Derby for dog lovers to enjoy. Register your pup or come to watch the fun on October 26th at 10am. The race is for dachshunds only but you can bring your dogs dressed up for a costume contest. This fundraiser benefits H.E.A.R.T. Animal Rescue.

Big Kahuna’s Water Park will present Halloween Horror every weekend in October. They will feature three unique scare zones, haunted attractions and darkened rides. Be prepared for a scare by creepy clowns, zombies, fog, a house of mirrors, and more surprising sights. Even the treats will be ghastly with featured snacks like Zombie Brains and Mummy Fingers.
