The beach towns of 30A offer everything possible under the sun. Boasting powder white sand beaches and emerald green waters from the Gulf of Mexico. Breathtaking sunrises and sunsets can be seen all year around. When you’re here you should be outside every chance you have! Here are 5 of our favorite ways to enjoy the outdoors on 30A.

30A Beaches

We cannot say enough about the beautiful beaches of 30A. Sand that squeaks between your toes on a path that seems to go on for days. There is so much to do on our beaches. Throw a football, frisbee, play some volleyball, take a walk, or plant yourself in the powder white sand and read a good book. The Gulf of Mexico can be quite inviting as well. Take a dip, snorkel, boogie board, paddle board, or catch some fish right off the surf. Beach time is the best time on 30A.

30A Nature Paths and Parks

Topsail Hill State Preserve is one of the most diverse natural eco-systems in the state, featuring wet prairies, pine flatwoods, marshes, and cypress domes. Explore 3 miles of pristine beaches and 5 dune lakes encompassing more than 170 acres on more than 1,500 acres of park. Eden Gardens State Park is covered with large moss live oaks with walking trails and panoramic views of Tucker Bayou. The 2-story Wesley house boasting large white columns, a wrap-around porch, and showcasing old heirlooms from the Wesley family can be toured throughout the week. Grayton Beach State Park offers 2 unique biking and walking trails where you can observe wildlife and incredible views.

30A Shopping

Each little beach town offers unique shops with creative outdoor views. The shops at Seaside surround a circle full of green grass where the kiddos can play while mom is browsing through boutiques such as The Seaside Style, Duckies Shop of Fun, and Art of Simple. Alys Beach is known for its amazing architecture and pristine white walls. Retail shops such as Alys Shoppe reflect that same beauty. This shop has a little bit of everything, from women’s and men’s fashion to accessories and gifts. A day of shopping with stunning Gulf views is every girl’s dream!

30A Restaurants

There are so many delicious restaurants on 30A, but we are only going to highlight 2 with amazing food and outdoor views. Bud & Alley’s in Seaside has a great menu, great drinks, and a popular rooftop bar making it one of the best places in Seaside to catch the sunset. The Vue on 30A in Santa Rosa Beach is another perfect spot to watch the sunset, serves delicious food, shakes up incredible cocktails, and was voted “Best Waterfront Dining” by Florida Travel + Life magazine. Need we say more?

30A Entertainment

Outdoor entertainment comes in all forms on 30A. Annual art walks line the streets of our favorite beach towns introducing our skilled local and regional artists. Nightly outdoor concerts are held under the stars by talented local musicians. Family movies are shown on big screens set up outdoors for when the sun goes down. We even watch football outside at some of our favorite 30A gathering spots.
