Pet Friendly on 30A

Florida is a popular vacation destination, but you may not have realized that there are many pet-friendly vacation spots. More than half of pet owners are used to traveling with their pets. Your four-legged friend will love 30A just as much as you do! If you are planning a family trip,  bring the whole family - don’t worry about getting a pet sitter.

Check out our 30A pet-friendly vacation rentals so you can bring them right along.  There are few things to note and keep in mind when booking a 30A rental with your pet.  Below are a few specifics, but certain properties may have different requirements.  Don't hesitate to contact one of our Reservation Specialists if you have any specific question or concerns on what is allowed and what is required.

In case of emergencies, 30A Vet is located in Gulf Place and is a great place for pet care with a wonderful reputation. Next door, you’ll find Dapper Dogs Grooming just in case you need to get Rocky spruced up for a night out on the town.  If your pup needs to run off some energy visit the South Walton Dog Park at 342 J D Miller Road. Or bring them on a leash up and down all of the trails 30A is known for!

BENCHMARK MANAGEMENT DOG POLICY

1. Our dog friendly properties allow up to 2 dogs, maximum weight 30 lbs. each.
2. A non-refundable dog fee (plus sales tax) is required.  This fee varies per property, so please refer to the listing or give us a call for information.
3. Benchmark Management takes no responsibility for renters’ dog. Named guest and dog owner are responsible for any and all damages caused by dog.
4. Excessive dog hair, waste stains, debris/waste left on property and violation of any of the standards listed here are subject to damage deposit charges. To avoid excess charges please report dog accidents to our office immediately.
5. Dogs are not permitted on the beach per Walton County regulations. Exception: dogs owned by Walton county real property owners or permanent year-round residents who have obtained a permit from The Walton County Tax Collector.
6. Dogs are not permitted in any pool areas.
7. Dogs must be on a leash when outside.
8. Dog owners are responsible for prompt removal of their dogs’ debris/waste and are subject to county fines if not removed.
9. Dog owner affirms that dog is in good health and does not represent a health hazard to anyone. Dog must be current on all vaccinations and currently treated for flea and tick prevention and will be current in their vaccinations and treatment at time of check-in. Vaccination paperwork or tags may be requested at check-in.
10. Your dog must be housebroken. Keep dog off the furniture and bedding at all times.
11. No personal dog beds or other such items will be put in washer or dryer.
12. Guest must be present at property if maintenance or housekeeping needs access.

While dogs are not allowed on the beaches in Walton County, there is a dog friendly section of beach to the east in Panama City Beach. This section of beach is located on the west side of the Russell-Fields City Pier in front of Pier Park. The park is located on Front Beach Road at beach entrance 57.
