While most make their plans to visit 30A during summer, many have discovered the benefits of visiting these beach towns in fall! Most trends come and go. Here are a few reasons why we love 30A during fall, making this trend here to stay.

The word has gotten out, and everyone is planning a trip to the beaches of 30A. This celebrated summer locale is bustling with travelers from all over. However, come fall the crowds trickle down, and you can enjoy these powder white sand beaches all to yourself. Not to mention more options on where to stay.

30A vacation rentals are hard to come by during summer. You must plan months in advance to get the perfect rental for your family. Come fall, more choices open up along with lower rates for the season. Booking a condo right on the beach or a cottage with a private pool is not out of reach, making your vacation stay ideal.

What’s another reason why these beaches are so favorable in fall? The weather! It can get pretty hot and humid during summer. Once fall hits, the humidity drops making the air crisp and clear. The sun still shines bright for the perfect beach day, and the emerald-green Gulf of Mexico is so refreshing this time of year. Some of our favorite 30A festivals and events are held during the fall season. Baytowne Wharf presents its annual Beer Festival October 6th – 7th. You can sample over 200 domestic and international craft beers as well as learn about the different styles of brews from lagers to stouts. All this while enjoying live entertainment from local talent. Harvest Wine & Food Festival takes place October 19th-22nd, featuring some of the world’s premier vintners, proprietors, and award-winning chefs. You can indulge in fine wine and gourmet fare during this 4-day event.
