Beachwood Villas a great friendly place to vacation.

This was the 2nd year that we spent the winter at Beachwood Villas. It was good, except for a few things. The TVs started giving us trouble about 1-1/2 weeks before we checked out. The technician couldn't fix them and never came back even though we called several times. He needed a code from the owners who apparantly didn't cooperate. So we had no TV for over a week. The same technician had been there in January. He found one of our cables wasn't connected. Quick fix that time.
There was a metal strip nailed. to the riser of the top step of the stairway outside our 2nd floor condo. Last year we complained about it because we kept catching our shoes on it. We were told by Maintenance that since it's outside they would contact the HOA to repair it. When we arrived this year, we found that they had put more nails in it, but we still caught our shoes on thr edge.
The double bed in the 3rd bedroom needs a new mattress. The edge of the mattress where you get into bed is crushed down really bad. It was the same way last year also.
The activities are great..shuffle board on Saturday morning and exercise classes 3 times a week are just some of the socializing that goes on.
We had a problem with cockroaches, even after they sprayed, we saw more.

Great stay at Beachwood Villas

We enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean, spacious, and convenient to the beach, local restaurants, and the pool. Management was professional and responsive, check in/out was easy. The only issue we had was the excessive noise from upstairs in the middle of the night- the floors are thin and you can hear everything. Luckily, the people staying upstairs checked out and only disturbed us a few nights. Would stay here again.

Always book with a local Vacation Rental Manager

From beginning to end what a great experience. Working with Benchmark Management to plan our families vacation was very easy and we saved a lot of money. We stayed at Beachwood Villas 11E and the other half of our group stayed at Legacy Condos 403. Both properties were recommended by the staff at Benchmark as we both had different budgets but wanted to be close together. We were a 2 min walk from each other with the Legacy property being beachfront. The properties were professionally cleaned and well maintained. The staff at Benchmark was there to answer questions and make recommendations about things to do in the area. When booking a vacation rental in Destin/30A be sure to contact Benchmark Management directly for the best prices, selection and true local service. We are already looking on Benchmark Managements website for places to book next year.

Perfect space and location

We had a wonderful stay at Beachwood villas and were very happy with the location and cleanliness. The beds were super comfortable and the it was really like having 2.5 baths with twi toilet/sink ateas connected by one shower. It was so convenient to the beach and Tom Thumb. You can ride bikes to seaside which was perfect! The only downside was that we had to rent a gas golf cart vs an electric one because there is nowhere to charge it. We were pleasantly surprised by the beach chairs left at the condo too!

We love Beachwood Villas and come back year after year. 11E was a beautiful condo, clean and spacious. This building is my favorite because it overlooks the pool and you can see the kids playing. The mattress desperately needs replacing in the queen room though. It made sleeping almost impossible and my husband and I had to rotate through the bunk room and the couch. Other than that, we loved this unit.

11e was very nice across 30a to the beach plus swimming pool right in front of condo unit unit was very clean only thing it needs is more cooking items 1 skillet is not enough to cook with also this unit was on the second floor on a 3 story building so if someone is above you you will hear them walking or jumping we went as a group and we rented 5 units we had washer and dryer in the unit but the other units had no washer and dryer this is a nice place to stay that won’t break the bank to stay

Beachwood Villas Seagrove

We liked the location of the condo because it is not in a high traffic area but close to neighborhoods down 30A. The 5 minute walk to the beach was direct and very accessible. However, the beach area provided for guests of Beachwood is extremely small and restricted by condo properties which are beachfront.
Our unit was convenient, clean and updated nicely. We especially liked having the additional lavatory. We chose a unit overlooking the pool which was pretty, but noisy at times. Also we were on the second floor which did not have an elevator and because of the construction of the units, we could hear the constant movements of the guests in the condo above us.
Overall the complex is well-kept, had available parking, easy to access and just the right size/price for our group.

Dirty floors

The unit was beautiful and everything was clean, but the floors. I guess they sweep them, but it seemed as though they hadn’t been mopped in months. Our feet were black within minutes. They offered housekeeping to come, but since our stuff was in the unit, I just asked for a mop to do it myself. They dropped off a swiffer professional mop and a mop pad that didn’t fit. I called back the next day and asked for mop pads to fit a swiffer professional mop and they brought regular sized swiffer mop pads, which don’t fit. I was pretty much done with asking, so we just wore shoes all week inside (including my 2-year old).

Great experience. Great location in relation to things to do and the beach. It is a quarter of a mile to the beach, or in track coach terminology, one lap around the track. The Subway that was between the condo and beach was a Win/Win. Easy lunch stop. The condo was great. It was was quiet and clean. We were very pleased with our accommodations. No complaints of any sort!!!

Short walk to the beach, even being towards the back of the property. So close to one of the pools, definitely a bonus woth kids!
The condo itself left much to be desired. The furniture is old, falling apart, and none of the matresses are comfortable. The bunk bed had no ladder, theyleft a step stool, unsafe for anyone younger than 12-13yrs old to use. Kitchen was nice, need new pans.
We had an issue with the cleanliness when we got there, and I’m not picky with having 4 kids, but Angie was very quick to respond and so nice! Thank you.

Well Organized Condo for Larger Group

We rented this condo along with a couple of other properties to accommodate family members for a wedding. We had 9 adults and 1 child staying in the condo with no issues - lots of space, well organized and very clean. We would definitely rent this condo again in the future.

Overall, it was ok. We have stayed in nicer condo’s in the area for about the same price. This condo had adequate kitchen supplies except their broom only had half a side of bristles so that made sweeping floors interesting. The vacuum was not much. Fairly quiet, but we did hear the neighbors upstairs every morning.
