If you are looking for a relaxing get away located DIRECTLY on an UNCROWDED stretch of white sand beach, your search is over! Sand in My Shoes offers gorgeous gulf views, fabulous accommodations and the perfect location on 30A! This newly renovated three bedroom, 2 1/2 bath townhouse sleeps 10 comfortably and is less than 50 yards from the door to the beach! Situated on the west end of five attached gulf front units, Sand in My Shoes offers gorgeous ocean views and breathtaking sunsets off two balconies directly overlooking the Gulf. This also makes it the closest unit to the private gated beach access stairs. There is one reserved spot directly in front of the unit with additional parking on site.

You'll enter through the two story, open foyer where you will find a storage area for beach gear. Up 2 short flights of stairs you'll enter the main floor living area.

Enjoy the modern updates in 5B. The main floor consists of an updated half bath and large well-appointed kitchen with new tile backsplash, new quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, floor to ceiling white cabinets, new island with seating for four, and a beautiful live edge wood table that seats 6. In addition, new flooring was added throughout the main floor. The family room has a large LED TV, surround sound, DVD player, Bose Wave System, games, puzzles, books, DVDs and of course free Wi-Fi. The entire south wall is glass sliding doors allowing amazing views of the beach and ocean.

The 2nd floor contains a large beach-side master suite with a king bed and updated bathroom with dual sinks and large tile shower. Both have fantastic ocean views through the wall of glass sliders opening to the large balcony. The 2nd floor balcony has 2 reclining chairs with ottomans to relax while taking in the sights, sounds and feel of panoramic ocean views from Panama City Beach in the east to Destin in the west. This floor also contains another large bedroom with 2 queen beds and attached updated bathroom. This 2nd bedroom has a small balcony overlooking the pool with an ocean view to the west. Both bedrooms have large closets and flat screen TVs. Laundry is located on the 2nd floor.

The 3rd floor bedroom/loft has 3 custom built-in twin extra-long beds with an additional twin trundle and built-in cabinet. Each bed has its own reading light and electrical outlet with two USB ports for charging all your devices. The loft includes a TV and DVD player.

"Sand in My Shoes" is ideally located directly on a quieter stretch of 30A's world renowned beaches, away from all the crowds while only about a mile to the center of Seaside. Seaside and WaterColor are just short bike rides away. Centrally located in Seagrove, it gives you access to nature trails, biking and jogging paths, water sports, great dining and shopping.

There are 10 restaurants less than a mile from "Sand in My Shoes" including Cafe Thirty-A, Surfing Deer, Seagrove Market Cafe, The Perfect Pig and Angelina's Pizzeria & Pasta. This means you can ride your bikes or even walk to some of the best restaurants on 30A! In addition, bike, paddle board and kayak rentals are conveniently located across the street.

An initial Benchmark signature box of amenities is provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, 1 pack of kitchen wipes and liners for each trashcan plus 2 washing machine pods. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of facial and bath soaps/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom.

Great condo but has bugs in beds

Condo is nicely updated, great location, beautiful beach. However we discovered bugs in all 4 loft beds upon our arrival Saturday. We immediately called benchmark and we’re told someone would be there within the hour. Despite repeated calls and even a visit to the benchmark office Monday we never saw anyone. On Wed we were told the exterminator came in Tuesday. The linens were not changed and when I inspected (and videoed) under the mattresses on Thursday there were
still bugs crawling and ant traps had been placed under the mattresses. Obviously we never used these beds and the kids slept in beds with parents on 2nd floor. A credit of $570 and meal at Pickles was not near compensation for not being able to use 4 of the 10 beds!!! Such a shame as condo is great otherwise. Benchmark was definitely not responsive like owners are. Also do not hope to get in before 4pm even if the unit was clean by 2pm and there is a thunderstorm - you will have to wait outside in the rain until door code works at 4 even if you call!!

Elizabeth, We are very saddened to hear of your dissatisfaction with your recent trip. We can confirm we were contacted regarding a bug issue at the property upon your arrival. We contacted a pest control company as soon as possible, but sadly we have no control over their availability and could not control how quickly they could stop by the property to assist. Pest control did stop by on the 20th and confirmed the bugs where sugar ants possibly due to people eating in the beds. The property has been treated for the sugar ants, and no further issues have been reported. Regarding your statement about the bedding at the property, we did not receive any word of this issue during your trip. We did, however offer to change all the bedding after the treatment of the sugar ants to ensure the safety of all guests. Check in time for our properties starts at 4pm CST. This information is provided to our guest at booking, via the confirmation email, and on the day of your arrival. In the case the property is ready early, we are glad to allow entry to our guest once the early check in fee is paid. With over 400+ properties under our management, early check in is never a guarantee, but if able, we are glad to accommodate. Due to the bug issue, we provided your family a meal at a local restaurant, a refund of $572.32 and 5% off a future stay. WE Love Seagrove

Dune Villa 5A. Absolutely a Magnificent view and location. We had a few issues that really did not affect our wonderful Month stay. The Plugs did not work in either upastairs Bath, I don't use a Hair Dryer , my wife does. We called on 02/02, a man came out and said he did not know how to fix " Breaker 13 " Benchmark said an Eletrician would be forthcoming. This never happened...... We also mentioned on 02/02 that Ants were on the Kitchen Counter, the Exterminator was prompt. 2 weeks later the Ants were back. The Front Left Burner on the Stove did not work and the Front Right did not heat evenly. The Floor in the 1/2 bath definitely needed to be cleaned, i took care of this. DV 5A is Magnificent at our ages the steps were a bit much this trip. We reserved Beachside #1 for 2024.

Wonderful Location and Beach Access

This rental has great views, quick and easy access to the beach and the process could not have been simpler. The kitchen is nicely updated with everything you could need and there is a big open area on the main floor. There are a lot of stairs in this unit (stairs up to the main living area and then 2 more floors above that for the bedrooms) so be aware if you have mobility challenges. The outdoor spaces were a highlight - great views and sounds of ocean.

Our stay in “sand in my shoes” was nothing but amazing, Our family has been staying in Seagrove Beach every year for almost 20 years. Never a disappointment. This condo was extremely clean, compatible to kids, expecting mom and the more mature but young grandma. Fully stocked beautiful kitchen with a breathtaking view of the gulf. Will definitely stay here again.

My sister and I rented your condo along with her daughter and granddaughter (26yrs old). It is a beautiful townhouse with fabulous décor. Your bedding was fabulous! The 2 balconies really made our stay exciting with daily dolphin sightings. We wanted to thank you for allowing us to rent your home 5B. Benchmark Management was very professional and helpful. Your parking space was flooded but they assigned another unit space. The condo was super clean and we so appreciated all the towels, shampoos, etc. Thank you for letting us enjoy your 1 bike and the beach chairs.

Wonderful Experience

We really loved this recently updated unit. The owners made very tasteful decoration choices and also made a lot of smart decisions on making this condo very functional. We enjoyed the multiple levels of the unit as it gave us some separation and privacy but allowed our children to be together also. I would definitely come back to this unit.

Beautiful condo, Perfect location.

The condo was completely updated and nicely done... its quite large .. larger than it looks in the photos .. walk out the door and around the corner and you are at the beach !!! Plus they had all of the beach chairs and umbrellas you will need .. two bikes and beach toys !! Would love to stay there again sometime.

Great experience!

We had a very relaxing stay at Sand in my Shoes! Great accommodations-beautiful views. The beach closed due to Tropical storm Barry our last 2 days but we have to accept things like that. Still enjoyed the sand and our condo!

Terrific location right on gulf. Small low rise complex, well maintained. Our unit Sand in my Shoes was beautifully furnished, equipped & decorated. Pretty & comfortable. Perks from Live Well 30A added plus. In 36 years of renting houses & condos in 30A area, this is one of very best. We will come back here

Great escape

My family had a Great weeklong stay. You don’t even need shoes to get to the beach and the townhouse had everything we needed. It’s a quieter part of the beach which was also a plus.

Great Property with Minor Annoyances

We arrived the week after the hurricane hit the panhandle. This area luckily escaped unscathed. However, our unit had no internet for the first 2 days of our stay and no cable for the duration. I contacted management about the issue and they kept saying it should be back up anytime. I really expected some type of compensation. I would have certainly stayed at a different property. It was most annoying because I asked about any problems from the hurricane before I arrived and was told everything was great and ready. That wasn't true.
Also, we ran out of toilet tissue and the kitchen trash can had 1 bag in it. I contacted management and they said that they allow 1 "complimentary" roll of tissue per bathroom and 1 trash bag. They then directed me to a convenience store down the road. I have stayed in VRBO's from Hawaii to Boston and have never heard of this. This unit sleeps up to 10 people. We had 3 adults and 3 children 5 and under. We ran out of our 1 roll limit in the main level bath. I think they should have had extra somewhere. As for the trash bag, they require you to take out the trash before you leave. That is fine and no problem. However, once we filled our one bag, I don't think it should be up to me to go buy more trash bags. If you want me to take it out, provide something to carry it in.
Sometimes it's the little things that make the difference. That being said, this unit was very clean and looked just as described in the pictures. The location is great and we loved using the bikes. There is a rental across the street where we were able to rent additional ones.
The stairs are very steep for small children, so it might be better for those with older kids. The linens were scratchy but the beds were comfortable.
All in all, this is a great place to stay. Just know that you need to bring trash bags, toilet tissue, paper towels, a can opener, beach towels, and you will have to buy ice.

Thank you for submitting your review - as mentioned we were very lucky that our properties themselves did not sustain damage from Hurricane Michael - however some services such as cable, internet and cell phones was disrupted and for that we do apologize. Regarding the amenities - we do have this information in our listings so that you can bring items from home which is what most of our guests do! And just to be clear - we do put a roll of toilet paper in every bathroom - not just one roll for the entire house! We do realize that every property is different so we always encourage a call prior to your visit so there are no surprises! Also as mentioned - this is a great property! The location is wonderful - it sits right on the Gulf so you have the most amazing views! It is also very close to Seaside (just a short bike ride away), Rosemary and Seacrest Beach. Wonderful vacation rental!

We just returned from a week at Sand In My Shoes. The location cannot be beat! The unit had all that you could need - 2 bikes, several beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, tons of beach toys. The views from inside and the balconies were amazing. You are literally right on the beach, so getting too and from was super easy. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Views

Great location, terrific views. My only complaint was the master bed was a bit uncomfortable, and parking space was very difficult to maneuver with our mini-van.
