Beautiful View

Just the right spot for us for a few days. The view was perfect and worth the visit. Condo was nice except for no elevator. Furniture in the living area could have used updating. All in all it was clean and we loved the balcony and 3rd floor view. Wish the pool had been beachside instead of middle of the condo units.

Short but pleasant stay

Overall a lovely place. Beautiful view. Location is great, easy bike-ride into Seaside. Management company is responsive, arrival & departure were easy processes. We had a few issues that they responded to quickly. Condo could use a few updates: bedding (awful pillows), kitchen. Suggestion: include beach gate passcode and instructions for the tv remotes. Floor could use a good cleaning.

Unbelievable view

We loved the condo once we got a few hiccups resolved. Had some plumbing issues and weren’t happy with the cookware, but Benchmark was extremely helpful. They responded in a timely manner to all of our concerns. The description did say a keurig coffee maker was included and we were most disappointed when there wasn’t one. We made do with the regular coffee maker. The kitchen is ok, could use a little updating, but the view and location made up for it. Loved our time here. Bike rental voucher was a real plus.

We loved unit A12, the view of the ocean was perfection! The unit has comfortable furnishings and is styled so cute and updated! We enjoyed the view from the 3rd floor and also the privacy of the porch! We never heard any noise or sounds through the walls and people outside were respectable in the evenings! The Palms is in a perfect location to access Seaside by bike, very close to Publix and also some other shops and restaurants! We loved the location, the home and working with Benchmark, they were very attentive when we had questions!

Almost Perfect

We very much enjoyed our stay in this unit but unless a couple of upgrades are made, we won’t stay there again in the future. The unit was clean, the furniture was nice and the view was great. The walk to the beach is short and quick, which are nice details when you are hauling beach chairs and a tent to the shoreline. My suggestions for improvement have to do with the kitchen and the bedding. The pillows were terrible and looked old and ratty, and there were no extra blankets or pillows for the roll out couch, we had to call and request blankets. The pots and pans in the kitchen were old and icky - every pan I used I lined with foil before using it. If you like to cook while on vacation, this isn’t the unit for you. The kitchen is rather poorly stocked. The location of this condo is great, and the crowd on the beach is low and easy to maneuver. All in all it’s a great unit but they need to up their game on the bedding and in the kitchen.

Absolutely loved the view and the look of the condo! It was just far enough from the chaos, but close enough to everything. I also absolutely loved the private beach access, which gave us space to lay out and relax.
For improvements, here are the little things that would make it perfect. The vent in the bedroom had a shake in it every time the AC ran. I had to wear earplugs. The pillows were really cheap. Wish the pool was heated.
Overall it was a great experience!!

Great stay in A12

Our family had an amazing time in A12! Everything felt so clean and had extras like beach chairs below the bunks! Just wish the top bunk had a safety rail. Made me nervous having our daughter up there, and she felt the same. She ended up sleeping on the couch. Which was very comfy, by the way. :) Also, wish the pantry had been unlocked for groceries, but we made some room in the bottom cabinet. Both things are not something to keep us away next time though! Already planning our next trip to A12! Can not beat the view and location.

A great week!

We loved our stay here. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed the amazing view of the beach. It was nice that it was right on the beach too. The pool was good for a break from a the beach (although ended up green and closed by the end of the week?). The room was good for our family of 5. Kitchen was stocked with all that we needed. The condo was clean and everything inside it in good working condition. It was nice that there were some beach chairs in the condo to use. Overall we loved it and will definitely look to stay here again in the future.

Best Beach Condo for a small group!

This was our 5th time staying in The Palms and the 3rd time in A12. We love A12 because it has a perfect view to the beach (3rd floor center) and has been very nicely renovated. The wall to the kitchen has been taken out which makes the whole condo feel more open. The kids can come and go from the beach to the condo and you can see the balcony from the beach very easily. The beach has been washed away this summer by half from the last storm surge so everyone was crammed in a bit more which made it hard to social distance! If you want front row, you must go out by 5:45 am to claim your spot! We used the beach chair guys to set up umbrellas for us each day after we claimed our spot with chairs. The water was again crystal clear and calm for most of the stay as it usually is. The activity on this part of the beach is always family friendly and not too crowded. Some other reasons why we like this condo are for the 2 full baths even though there is only one bedroom, affordable but right on the beach, and has a pool (in parking lot between condos). Even though there is only one bedroom, the 2 bunk beds in the wall and the pull out couch have always been just fine for us and few children. Also, this condo is an easy bike to Seaside and has many restaurants all around. We had a couple of maintenance issues which Benchmark already knew about and came to fix. They were very responsive and fixed the problems right away. We've never had any problems renting through Garrett/Benchmark at this condo complex.

A12 is beautifully remodeled. We had family in other units, and they were ok, but this unit feels more spacious and clean and bright! Fantastic view from the balcony...each morning greeted with the sound of the ocean and amazing sunrise/sunsets in evening!
