Wonderful Trip

The house was beautiful, clean and conveniently located. Our kids loved the bunk room "crow's nest" and there was plenty of space for everyone. Be mindful there is no bathroom on the third floor which can be challenging during the night with younger kids but that's all personal preference. An easy walk to The Donut Hole, Destin 30A Fish Market, 30Avenue and a manageable walk to Inlet Beach Public Access points. A quick drive to Rosemary Beach and others along 30A. The management company didn't send all necessary communication a week prior as promised, making check in somewhat difficult, but overall a good experience and a house we'd consider staying in again.

Summer Bachelorette Weekend

I am very torn with my review of Rosemary Retreat. We stayed for 3 nights for a bachelorette weekend with 9 people. While the house says that it sleeps 10 people, I would say it sleeps 8 adults comfortably. There were enough towels provided for everyone however the limit of 2 trash bags and other limited amenities regardless of stay length seemed unfortunate and wasteful, to have to purchase extra supplies for just one use leaving behind excess. The house was beautiful and in great condition and over all clean. However there are several unsealed gaps and openings in the construction that allowed several cockroaches to enter and were found on beds and in among guest’s personal items on all levels of the house. The location of the outdoor trash bin is not easily found or described and was already very full and covered with fruit flys when we got there. Location was great and easy access to downtown and the beach! We enjoyed Pescado, Havana rooftop, Lola’s, and Destin Crab Island Charters. Overall I would have loved to give a higher rating as Benchmark was great and responsive and I loved the house itself and location. My dissatisfaction is with very limited resources compared to capacity and length of stay and most specifically the amount of cockroaches that were found.

Beautiful Rental in Rosemary Beac

This home was beautifully decorated, comfortable and immaculately clean. There was plenty of space and then some for our family of 4. We enjoyed cooking a few evenings in the spacious kitchen that was equipped with everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and in close proximity to bike or walk the beach, great restaurants and shopping. We took advantage of the convenient beach service for chair and umbrella rentals available in the area along with bike rentals! We enjoyed such a fun and relaxing family vacation here! Highly recommend!

Our stay at Rosemary Retreat was wonderful! This location is everything - so close to local restaurants as well as the public access beach entrance! The host and Benchmark both were superb! The house is beautiful and it’s in the perfect location. Beach Access is so close, as well as many restaurants and shops! We had the best experience and will definitely be back!
