Condominium could use a little work but it was more than made up for by the view, the location and the beauty of the beach and the water. Access to beach is easy. Will come back

Fantastic location on the beach. Loved the property and the view. Some kitchen cabinet doors and dresser drawers were broken, which was disappointing for the price we paid. Cushions on patio furniture are overdue for replacing - they are very dirty and uninviting to sit on without a towel. 5 stars for satisfaction with our stay because of the location and beautiful views.

Could have been better

Well.. to start, they did not provide the gate code to enter the complex. After a phone call and 5 minute wait, I was given the code. Me and all the cars waiting behind me entered. Next (and just a few minutes later), the code they gave me to enter the unit was wrong! I had to call back and after another 5 minute hold, I got a live person. They proceeded to give me three more WRONG codes. This locked up the digital door lock for 10 minutes. After another wait, they finally provided the right code. In the kitchen, half of the outlets did not work. The first morning, we found out that the coffee maker also does not work. Not a great way to start the morning. The following day, the neighboring unit was construction! The drilling and pounding and dust was overwhelming! We called customer service and they offered nothing to cure the situation. The construction continued all week and started everyday early in the morning.
The view of the ocean was nice.

A winner at Monterey Condos on E30A

Have stayed at Monterey Condos several times. Gulf front location is excellent! The owner of this particular unit (C301) has upgraded each of the bathrooms. The master bathtub and shower upgrade is substantial.
Other upgrades as well! Unit could use other upgrades from rental "wear and tear" such as cushions and pillows on furniture. In summary, one of the better units at Monterey!

Monterey Condo July 2024

Condo was exactly as described. Extremely clean upon arrival. We've vacationed from Pensacola to Inlet Beach for the past 47 years and this was of the best condos we have ever stayed in. Only a minor issue with the master toilet and maintenance was on site within a few hours to repair it. Only suggestion is to make available carts to help the unloading/loading of luggage/supplies process.
