Bi-annual Family Vacation

House was clean and spacious. Checking in and out was easy. Location to the beach was an easy walk but getting up the steps from the beach can be difficult for those with health conditions or elderly. If we had known there were so many steps we would have stayed elsewhere due to a family member having trouble climbing them. The queen mattresses in 2 of the bedrooms need to be replaced. Main bedroom’s mattress was perfect. Pool turned green on Wednesday and was not cleaned until Friday. Pool guy said it always does when it rains. He probably needs to come twice a week when rainy. Patio and grill area was great. Did not see any beach services so had to bring chairs/umbrella to beach. Rental credit for those items was appreciated. Definitely spacious enough for everyone to spread out.

Great House

This house was really great! It accommodated our two families wonderfully (4 adults, 7 kids). It was such a great location with an easy bike ride into The Hub or to Alys/Rosemary. The beach access was extremely convenient as well. The access was directly across the street from the entrance to the neighborhood on 30A, and once you got there the walkway had a boardwalk and a shower at the top of the stairs to rinse sandy feet after a day at the beach. Some things that would improve the stay at the house would be more linens, towels, washcloths, blankets. Several of the beds only had a thin quilt, and we only found one extra blanket in entire five-bedroom house. The house was clean, and Benchmark was great to work with! Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Great location and privacy

Management company was great, very helpful. The location here was very convenient to beach access and central location between Destin and PCB. The pool area is very private and offers shade. Just be prepared as there are no beach towels and no basics (salt, pepper, cooking spray, coffee filters, etc) offered to start with

Great Home to Rent

Benchmark was quick to respond and the home was how the pictures portrayed it. I would rent from them again and would choose this house again! The only issue we had was some confusion about the pool being heated, but Benchmark worked with me on this prior to our arrival.

The home was lovely and spacious, accommodating our large group comfortably. The short walk to the beach was great (unfortunately the red tide was not so great). We enjoyed lounging by the pool though.

Great house and location

We recently stayed at 9 Palms for a family vacation with our kids and grandkids. The house was a great size for the 8 adults and the grandkids. The walk to the beach was very easy. Everyone loved the pool. It was nice having the alarm on the door with the young kids so we knew whenever someone went out to the pool. The rooms were a great size and the master bedroom and bathroom were awesome. The only issue we had was with the plumbing in the bathroom on the main floor. Benchmark Management was very quick to respond and everyone was very nice. There are a few restaurants close by but most are in Panama City Beach which was about a 20 minute drive. I would definitely recommend this house and hope to stay there again sometime.

Great house, close to the beach

We recently stayed at the 9 Palms location. The house was great. We had plenty of room for our large family. The kitchen was well stocked. I would recommend adding some more silverware. We seemed to run out all the time. The main bedrooms were very nice size and the master suite was gorgeous. All the beds were very comfortable. Benchmark Management was excellent to work with. We had an issue with a shower and they were there within 30 minutes to fix. The only issue that I feel needs to be addressed is the main bathroom plumbing. Maintenance came out and a plumber but the issue was not totally fixed. All in all is was a wonderful time with our family. I would definitely stay here again.

The property from a cosmetic perspective was great. However, as it was documented from my calls/texts to benchmark we did have some issues: First, water pressure was bad for the first three days, plumber came out and found out main was not fully engaged. Multiple toilets had plumbing issues, however the 1st floor bath next to the living room never would flush correctly and even after multiple plumber visits couldn't be resolved. The master toilet had a cracked seat (you can imagine what that can do) and never was fixed duirng my stay. The pool was dirty upon arrival, BM did get it cleaned ahead of the normal schedule (thank you). We had to take out ALL (and I mean all) garbage from the back left by either previous tenant or someone...was gross (magits, ripped bags, needed gloves to pick up, bad odors), one of my sons was nausious from it...Again very nice place that could have been better prepared for us, and definitely has some plumbing issues that need to be addressed. We love BM and will continue to use them for future vacations. Also would stay here again if all items were resolved.

We came to Panama beach FL for our family Vacation the kids loved the heated pool, the house is very clean very cozy, and very spacious. We loved every single part of it. And only 2-3 min away from the beach. Walking distance. Great home can’t wait to go back next year.

Awesome rent

Very nice and clean. The only thing I would change would be the description in the details of bathrooms. They were not clear. 6 adults on the main floor had to use one bathroom that was located in the master bedroom. It is 3 bedrooms on the floor and again only 1 full bathroom located in the master bedroom. Not good but we managed.

This house was complete and utter perfection. My friends and I were in awe of it's beauty and amenities. The pool is completely private and the kitchen and living space are open so everyone can come together and socialize. The house was sparkling clean with all kitchen appliances, towels, and washing machine supplies provided. We were over the top satisfied. The house is a dream home with a magical botanical garden in the back yard and surrounding the property. With astonishingly high ceilings, the rooms are cozy and designed beautifully. Minutes from the beach, this home suited 6 people with plenty of space to spare.

We really enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home. It is located perfectly…off the main drag but with great beach access and close (but not too close) to the Hub, Rosemary Beach and Seaside. Your home is very private, well maintained and very clean. My wife and children commented that they felt very comfortable and at home. It was a great place to come home to after a day of biking or swimming to fix a meal (in a well appointed kitchen) and relax with an evening swim.
We rent a lot of homes and deal with many management companies and Benchmark is among the most professional we have dealt with.
We will recommend your homes to our friends and will return for our Fall dive trip.
