A Wonderful Stay!

My wife and I stayed for a week at the Happy Little Condo and had a truly wonderful stay. The condo was comfortable and clean and had an amazing view. Great location! Only two small complaints - had some ant issues in the kitchen, so be sure your food is stored well and the wifi signal was not very strong. Had weak signal depending on where we were in the condo. That being said, we loved this condo and are already talking about plans to stay here again next year.

Getting in was a problem and the Mgt company had to change the code on the second day after being locked out. Everything else went smoothly. My husband who is hard to impress was impressed with the view! I was impressed with the stylish cozy decor and view. We rode bikes,(15 min ride) to seaside and water color to shop and eat. Recommend “The perfect Pig” for breakfast and lunch. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Winter Getaway

The end unit is beautifully renovated with unobstructed views of the gulf and full of light. Fully equipped kitchen. Spacious hall bunks if you have others traveling with you. Loved that it was a ground floor unit with no stairs and easy walk out to the beach. Very comfortable king bed. It's a great location too. We will definitely come back and hopefully stay longer next time.

A happy condo, but...

Great condo but- HOA was painting the outside - could not use keypad or knob and no outdoor lights from parking lot. Smoke from Oven causing smoke alarms to go off, hole in screens leading to porch. Owner has provided almost every possible item to make stay comfortable and convenient and recent remodeling was very very nice. Great location on 30A and ideal setting to get to beach very easily.

Another Great Stay at A Happy Little Condo

This was our 4th year staying in this condo unit. The ocean view and the direct access to the beach are second to none. As always, the condo was very clean. The owners go out of their way to provide all the little "extras" that make your stay easier. Convenient assigned parking space and comfortable beds. The only negative I have is we arrived 30 minutes early and it was apparent nobody was in the unit. So, we called Benchmark to ask if we could check in at 3:30pm instead of 4pm. The agent confirmed the condo was clean and had been inspected by housekeeping. However, we were told there would be a charge of $65 to check in at 3:30pm but if we called back at 3:45pm(they have a 15-min grace period), they would unlock the door remotely and let us in free of charge. Really? $65 charge for 30 min early but 15 minutes later, it's free. The agent said the charge is to reset the automatic door code that doesn't unlock the door until 4pm. Yet, at 3:45pm, she opened the door remotely. It just doesn't seem right considering check-in is 4pm and check-out is 10am. Our friends stay in other units in this same complex and are always provided early check in free of charge providing the unit is ready. I feel the condo owners/Benchmark should rethink their early check-in policy for this unit if it has been cleaned and inspected. Regardless, we love everything else about this condo and it will not keep us from returning!

Happy Little Condo was Perfect!

The condo was perfectly clean. Since it is the bottom corner unit it was very quiet. It was the perfect size for our family of 4! The walk to the beach was only a few steps down the shared patio and the perfect spot. The parking spot is one of the best in the lot. The location on Eastern Lake Rd is one of our favorites on 30A.

Our 2nd time to stay in this unit. We like the spacious living room/ kitchen area. No obtrusive bar sticking out. The bed is not very comfortable - somewhat lumpy. Great patio area/view. Patio under repair and not painted in places. No landline phone, so you beed a cell phone - however we are on Verizon and had to go outside to place or receive calls. As there was zero bars showing. When we first arrived, the code would not e on the front door, and they had to send a maintenance man out to get it corrected. He arrived in just a few minutes and reset the lock.Batteries were dead in the main tv control. Other than thise little problems, we enjoyed our stay.

Great beach access!

The best thing about this condo is that you walk directly out to the beach. It is a corner unit which makes it more private. It has a beautiful, direct view of the ocean. This condo is a perfect use of the space. It is beautifully decorated and was super convenient to have the extra half bath for our grown daughter who slept on the bunk bed. Also great is a hallway door, so the bunk bed area can be closed off to the early risers. We really enjoyed our stay! (We also called for assistance once and management promptly came out in about an hour.)

Favorite 30A Hide Away

My husband and I spent the last week in September in this lovely little condo 201 at Eastern Shores. We love this end unit because it feels more open with the extra windows and also more private being on the bottom floor. It’s also beautifully decorated and comfortable. The close proximity to the beach is a definite plus. Perfect location for daily walks toward Seaside and restaurants or longer scenic and less crowded bike rides toward Rosemary.
Our door code wouldn’t initially activate so called the management number and they sent someone within minutes to get us inside. The nice man also took the time to help us get phones connected to the internet and how to operate the TV. Before arrival Benchmark Management sent several emails or texts with helpful information to make out stay enjoyable. Also provided numbers if needed anything during our stay. Many thanks to them. I’ve already booked for a spring stay because I love this unit and location!

We have stayed at Eastern Shores a couple times but this is our first time in "Happy Little Condo". We loved your renovations. Such a nice place! Enjoying walks on the beach and the sunsets. We discovered Eden Gardens State Park - what beautiful grounds and loved seeing the old live oaks! Love the condo décor and the larger bunk on the bottom! So nice being right by the ocean and hearing the soothing sounds of the waves.

We have been vacationing at Eastern Shores since 2014. We fell in love with Eastern Lake's outflow and the gorgeous emerald water at the beach. I think this is our 3rd stay in your unit and we love your renovations. The kitchen and living area have such a well designed, inviting use of space. Our family has enjoyed your collections of games, especially "Riddle Me This at meals. It has been a beautiful week from our paddle boards. We have seen a manatee (two different days!), 3 sharks, countless dolphins and rays, a turtle, and a pod of tarpon. We have made more memories as a family this week and we look forward to returning to what is indeed a "Happy Little Condo".

Loved this condo! Very pretty and renovated. Great view on the ocean and just steps away from the beach. We love not having to climb stairs and can easily go back and forth for lunch and breaks. It’s an end condo and has a nice breeze that comes through on the patio!

Definitely Be Back!

First time in your condo. Beautifully done. Usually stay next door, but your's was so pretty we came to it instead. Been coming to Eastern Shores for at least the last 10 years. To Seagrove for at least 25 years. We are a group of six "old ladies" from South US. Most of us are retired school teachers. We love this area. It is our happy place to relax and rejuvenate. Thanks for sharing your "Happy Little Condo" with us. We'll definitely be back next year.

The place was very clean and well kept. I didn’t know there was a keurig coffee machine I was told it was Mr. Coffee. Not a big deal but it would of been nice to know. Overall it is a beautiful and tastefully decorated condo.

Unit was exactly as described, easy keypad entry. Rental process was easy. We had an issue with the tv that was our fault but Benchmark was very responsive to the problem. Beautiful location, the ocean was amazing.

Happy Little Condo was amazing! We’ve stayed all over 30a and this was hands down the best place! Super clean and beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need in a rental. We loved the short walk down the condo’s boardwalk to the beach and the beautiful sunsets right from the patio. It was the perfect place to spend Christmas and we will definitely be back!

This unit was every comfortable and well appointed! We have already booked it for next summer! Have been staying at Eastern Shores for many years and love the location. Especially enjoyed this renovated unit this time! Only downside was the lack of instructions to work the ttv’s and DVD player. Would also love a dvd in the bedroom. Overall it was a wonderful stay and looking forward to next year!

Best Condo Ever

I was looking for a place that I felt comfortable taking my kids (ages 6 & 3) during this crazy covid season. This place was it! … hands down the perfect condo for my crew.
Lots of beaches make you set up tents behind the chairs so you don’t really have a view. We were allowed to set up 15’ from the water. We took our canopy/tent, which provided a good measure of social distance, and we got to be right on the water! There is also a little lake nearby. When it rains it makes a small river to the ocean, complete with little rapids. It made for a natural water park. The kids had the best time rafting into the ocean, playing in the rapids, and jumping off the side. This made for super fun rainy days. The kids also loved finding shells, clams, ghost crabs, hermit crabs, and even a seahorse!
Our family always stays right on the beach, but this was hands down the closest we have ever been. I think there were 3 steps in total. We were so close to our unit we could run inside quickly to grab popsicles or a forgotten pair of sunglasses. This will be our go-to unit even after covid passes. There was not a single thing I’d want to change. We genuinely LOVED EVERY SECOND! Everyone was so sad to leave. We cannot wait to go back!

We had a lovely stay at Happy Little Condo. Our family had plenty of room. We had stunning beachfront views from every window. The condo is so beautiful. It looks like the cover of a Serena and Lily catalog - crisp white and ocean blue decor. The furnishings are pretty and comfortable. The kitchen is modern and well-appointed. My 8 year old loved the built-in bunk beds and nooks for her books and stuffed animals.

Eastern Shores 201

We have stayed in this condo before and preferred the non-carpet flooring throughout over units that had carpet in the bedroom. We love the location and with the recent redecorating I think it's hard to compete with this condo. You can't get closer to the beach and on the rare occasion that we have needed to call, we received great customer service. We have a big truck and the parking spaces are tight; but, fortunately the 201 parking spot is on the end so we had easy access. Making the bunk alcove deeper was a great idea. Our son is 6'3" and he said he thought it was a queen size bed on the lower bunk and it was way more comfortable than the twin bunks that were there before.

Review of Eastern Shores Unit 201 - March 2019

We have stayed in unit 201 the past three years. It was quite a surprise to see the unit this spring. The unit was sold in 2018 and the new owners totally renovated the unit. They replaced the floors, ceilings, wall coverings and doors. The galley kitchen was torn out and replaced with a ‘L’ shaped kitchen with all new countertops and a large storage cabinet. They replaced all the appliances (fridge, stove, microwave, washer & dryer) also the furniture, larger dining table and chairs. New dishes, glasses, pots and pans etc. New and larger TVs in the living room and bedroom. The bathrooms were also renovated with new vanities, sinks and toilets. The two bunk beds were lengthened and the lower bunk was changed from a single to a double. Friends of ours stayed over for 4 days and slept in the lower bunk instead of the sofa sleeper. They said it was the best sleep they have had in years. While we were there we locked in January and February for 2020 and 2021. With its location and friendly neighbors it’s the best unit we have stayed in since we started vacationing in Seagrove Beach in 2013.

Truly a Happy Condo

This unit right on the water is perfect. The decor and colors are calming and homey and the view is incredible. Since you are on the far corner, no one is walking in front of the windows or stopping to dry off to obstruct your view. Numbered parking spots guarantee there is no parking issue and the unit is quiet (never heard the people beside us or above us.) We will definitely book again!
