September in South Walton, Florida!

September marks the ending of summer. 2012 has been an incredible summer! The Beaches of South Walton will offer one last ‘hoorah’ with a calendar full of outdoor events this month.

Come to Seaside Amphitheater on Saturday, September 1st, to kick-off Labor Day Weekend! Enjoy a free outdoor concert featuring the Panhandle Allstars from Pensacola. Nothing says summer like an evening of Jazz & Blues and Barefoot BBQ!

Make it an early night so you can join the fun at Alys Beach on Sunday, September 2nd for the Inaugural 5K Fun Run. At 8am you can wind through the beautiful town of Alys Beach. Rest-up a bit because a few miles away Rosemary Beach is putting on a Labor Day Weekend party. Right off the Lollapalooza stage, Kopecky Family Band will be entertaining all South Walton guests and locals at this free outdoor concert.

Summer is not over with Labor Day. We still have a whole month left of sunshine and warm-beach weather. To prove it Share the Shelter Concert will return to the amphitheater at Gulf Place on September 29th from 12-10pm. That’s a full day of food, fun, and talented musicians such as: Geoff McBride, Daphne Willis, Bryan Kennedy, Kelsey Ann, and Chris Alvarado.
