4th of July on 30A

When I think of the 4th of July, I think of summer vacations on the beach. Dad grilling in the back yard of our 30A Rental, mom laughing with my aunts, my cousins and I plotting our beach adventure for the next day. This is what 4th of July is all about for me. Our big family under one roof, enjoying each other and all that 30A has to offer. Here’s a few options for a 4th of July celebration that will make memories! 

If you’re an early riser you’ll love the 4th of July celebration at Rosemary Beach! Bike Decorating Contest & Breakfast starts at 7:30am followed by the Bike Parade throughout the Town Center at 8:30am. Nothing says 4th of July like an old-fashioned family field day on Western Green complete with sack races, water balloon toss and more at 9:00am. Live music from the band “Like Totally” starts at 6:00pm on the Western Green and a star spangled fireworks display shoots off at 8:45pm. 

Seaside hosts the community’s annual Independence Day Parade along Scenic 30A at 8:00am. The parade begins at Seagrove Plaza and ends at Seaside with an award presentation, face painting and fun activities for the entire family. Later that evening Seaside presents a concert by The Victory Belles at 7:00pm followed by an explosive fireworks show over the Gulf of Mexico! 

Grayton Beach gets funky with its annual July 4th Parade starting at the Red Bar at 8:30am! Decorate your cars, jeeps, boats, bikes, scooters, etc. and participate in this fun community celebration. Popsicles, watermelon and lemonade are served at the end of the parade.

Alys Beach will be hopping this 4th of July with live music by The Bucktown All-Stars! At 6:00pm bring your blankets, low back chairs and your favorite bottle of wine, grab a spot on the amphitheater lawn for a concert under the stars. An incredible fireworks show will follow the concert at 9:00pm.
