Things to Do When the Sun Goes Down on 30A

Sunsets on the beach

Your 30a summer vacation is finally here and you are all about the beach! The kids have their buckets and shovels, Dad has the SUP boards and you’ve got the sunscreen. 30a beaches are breathtaking with powder white sand and emerald green waters. There’s also so many activities you can enjoy on the beach under the sun. When the sun goes down, 30a has a wide array of free events the whole family will enjoy!

On Monday nights at 6:30pm the cast of the Seaside REP Theatre perform The Prince & The Pauper at the Seaside Amphitheater. Bring a chair or blanket, snacks and drinks and prepare to laugh out loud! The show is free and open to all ages.

On Tuesday nights at 7:00pm The Village of Baytowne Wharf presents Boomin’ Tuesday. Lawn games and inflatables will fill the events plaza. At 9:15pm a fireworks show will light up the sky.

On Wednesday nights at 6:30pm the cast of the Seaside REP Theatre perform Beauty & The Beast at North Barrett Square in Rosemary Beach. This outdoor theater brings magic and laughter to the stage. Bring a chair or blanket, snacks and drinks, and enjoy a show under the stars!

On Thursday nights at 5:00pm head to the Western Green in Rosemary Beach for face painting and movies! The kids will love getting their face painted by one of the talented artists. Then an outdoor movie will begin at 8:15pm. Bring your blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy popcorn and the best hot dogs on the beach!

On Friday nights at 8:00pm head to Seaside Amphitheater for a movie on the lawn. Bring blankets and the entire family to sit back and enjoy a show under the stars. Summer showings will include:  The Secret Life of Pets, Despicable Me 3 and The Jungle Book to name a few.

The beach towns of 30a have you covered with fun and free events for the whole family to enjoy every night during the week. Stay for a week in a 30a vacation rental and enjoy breathtaking views, beautiful beaches and evening events every day of the week.
