Your 30A Guide for Moms this Summer

Garrett Realty Summer

While kids are excited to get out of school and play all summer, moms can get overwhelmed with coming up with ways to entertain the crew. When you’re not soaking up the sun at the beach, here are some of our favorite things to do around 30A with the kids.

The charming town of Seaside has fun for all ages year-round but especially during the summer. Every Wednesday night, you can enjoy music at the town center starting at 7pm. On Fridays, they play a variety of family-friendly movies at the Amphitheater. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy fun times with the kids under the stars.

When everyone’s behaving and you want to get a treat, there are a number of places to satisfy your sweet tooth. Blue Mountain Beach Creamery is a family owned and operated ice cream shop with a great selection of ice cream, yogurt, and sorbet treats right by the beach. Pecan Jack’s has a wall of candy options and delicious handmade ice cream, brittle, chocolates, and much more. There’s also a Dippin’ Dots in Seagrove Plaza, Seagrove Beach which is a family favorite and it’s open until 10pm every day.

In Rosemary Beach, you can enjoy Moonlight Movies & Face Painting on Thursdays this summer. Face painting begins at 5pm on the Western Green in Rosemary. Movies start at 8:15pm and there are hot dogs and popcorn available for purchase.

Don’t forget to take time for yourself! Leave the kids with Dad one day and get a relaxing massage or a cute pedicure. Go shopping and check out the boutiques of 30Avenue. There is so much to explore around town! At the end of the day, unwind at your 30A vacation rental by the beach and enjoy your summer with the family.
