Get Romantic on the Emerald Coast

Football season is winding down just in time for couples to reconnect. Valentine’s Day is just a week away! It seems to always creep up on us. The Emerald Coast has plenty of options to spoil your partner or even just have some romantic downtime together. If you’ll be in town over the holiday, here are some of our top ideas to celebrate.

Dinner for two: If you want to take your sweetheart out to a tasty dinner, you’ll have tons of options. One thing that the coast does not lack is dining options. Whiskey Bravo is a popular spot with rooftop dining and an upscale menu. Vue has amazing Gulf views and a menu to die for. We recommend the crab cakes! Louis Louis has the ambiance of Red Bar but a quiet atmosphere great for dinner conversation. If you want to dance after your incredible meal, Red Bar is the place to go with live music in the dining room. 

Beach Picnic: You could even grab food to go and take it down to the beach for a nice picnic on the shore. With the weather all over the place, we’re bound to have some warm days mixed in to our unpredictable winter. Bike Ride: There’s nothing like exploring town together on a nice day and we recommend renting bikes. 30A has sidewalks along the road and close to the beach to take in the views with the wind in your hair. Alys Beach and Seaside are popular spots to cruise around with stunning architecture and gorgeous landscaping. Stop at Airstream Row for a snack or drinks and get some energy to keep cruising along. 

Spa Day: There are many, many available spa options in town and most people are always in the mood for a relaxing massage. Catch a Sunset: Northwest Florida has spectacular sunsets and sometimes we just get too busy to stop and enjoy them. Plan your day around the sun setting and be sure to watch the sky light up with pink, purple, and orange hues.
