Spend This Easter on 30A

What better place is there to spend Easter than on beautiful 30A? We had a very mild winter and are enjoying the first weeks of spring. The sun is out, birds are chirping, and the Gulf Coast is bustling with vacationers. Easter is right around the corner and we have some ideas of how to spend yours for your best Easter yet.

Some people love to make a big Easter brunch at their 30A vacation rental and then spend the day at the beach. If you want to go out for the holiday, we have some options for you. Cuvee 30A will be hosting an Easter Sunday Feast on April 21st from 11am-3pm. Popular chef Tim Creehan will provide signature dishes and a special feature of Easter Rack of Lamb. Caliza will host an Easter Brunch from 10am-2pm with Roasted Lamb, Gulf Shrimp and Grits, Endless Mimosas and much more on the menu.

In Grayton Beach, there will be a Grayt Easter 5K and Easter Egg Hunt on April 20th. The race will begin in Grayton Beach State Park at 8am. Melissa Mercer Brown, a local artist, has donated original art to be awarded to the race winners.

If you want to decorate your 30A condo for the holiday, Pinterest has some great ideas. Peeps are a popular item around Easter and here are some cute ideas for decorating with them including an Easter Peep Bouquet. Rather than buying store kits to dye your Easter eggs, you can try this method of Cool Whip Easter Eggs. Another fun activity that the kids will love is making Rice Krispie Nests. You can spend the morning having delicious treats and hunting your dyed eggs before heading to the beach for some sun and relaxation.

Whether your plans are to go out for brunch or have your own tradition with the family, the Gulf Coast will provide the best backdrop for your Easter holiday. Spring is one of the most beautiful times of the year on 30A and we look forward to seeing you here to enjoy it!
