Where’s the best place to watch the fireworks? This is the number one question on the 4th of July! The beach towns of 30a put on explosive fireworks shows every year. Here’s our 5 favorite ways to view 4th of July fireworks on 30a!

The Village of Baytowne Wharf celebrates the 4th of July with the annual event “Red, White and Baytowne”. From 6:00-9:00pm enjoy fun activities including lawn games, inflatables, kids’ crafts, face painting, live music and more! At 6:00pm Baytowne Marina throws down a 4th of July BBQ and the SOLARIS Yacht departs for a dinner cruise. Live music begins at 7:00pm and fireworks over the Choctawhatchee Bay begins at 9:15pm.

South Walton’s 4th of July parade is a great way to start off your Independence Day! Beginning at Seagrove Plaza in Seagrove Beach at 8:00am, the parade will travel down 30A, with the destination being Seaside. Stick around for the awards presentation, face painting and fun. Return to Seaside that evening for a 4th of July concert featuring Sister Hazel. The fun begins around 5:30pm with festivities, live music and fireworks show to follow at 8:30pm.

Rosemary Beach celebrates 4th of July with a whole day full of festivities. It begins early at 7:30am with a Bike Decoration Contest and Breakfast at North Barrett Square. Then on to the Bike Parade through the Town Center at 8:30am. Family Field Day on the Western Green starts at 9:00am including sack races, water balloon toss, games, prizes and more! Come back at 6:00pm for live music from The Like Total Hep Cats and finish the evening off with a star-spangled firework display from the beach at 9:00pm.

When the sun goes down the celebration continues at Havana Beach Rooftop Lounge. This alfresco venue features bistro style seating with stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy specialty drinks such as margaritas and sangrias as well as delicious appetizers. Top off the evening with fireworks at 8:45pm. It’s the perfect place to see the sky light up!

Alys Beach will have a 4th of July Concert from 6:00-9:00pm followed by fireworks. Grayton Beach celebrates with an old fashioned 4th of July Parade at 8:30am. You can take part by decorating your bikes, golf carts, cars, jeeps, boats, scooters, etc. and join the parade line at 8:00am.
